My research is aimed at understanding the molecular basis of DNA/RNA structure and protein-DNA/RNA recognition, in an effort to elucidate the role played by sequence, structure, kinetics and thermodynamics in determining the function of a specific DNA/RNA and DNA/RNA-protein complex.
