Design, synthesis and study of the biological activity of drugs active on the nervous system (with particular reference to the modulators of the Translocator 18 kDa Protein (TSPO)). Development of innovative strategies for the synthesis of heterocyclic compounds, both through traditional batch syntheses and using the most innovative and advanced techniques (microwaves, flow synthesis).
