I study neurobiology and neuropharmacology of pain, emphasizing neuron–glia communication, receptor signaling, and mechanisms of opioid tolerance. Using cellular and in vivo models, I map receptor crosstalk and pursue translational targets, including repurposed oncology therapeutics for cancer pain.
