About
I am an environmental chemist and engineer, specializing in oxidation-reduction (redox) transformation, contaminant fate in water and soil, and microbiological processes. I have been studying environmental science and developed engineering solutions for 30+years. My current projects involve (1) microbial respiration of black carbon's electron storage capacity for greenhouse gas reduction or water/soil remediation, and (2) rapid destruction or recovery of munition constituents (NTO, TNT, RDX, DNAN, etc.) through electron transfer or adsorption, respectively.
