My background is in the structural biology (crystallography and cryoEM) and mechanistic biochemistry of DNA re-arranging enzymes. My lab has now expanded into database mining and characterization of interesting new DNA recombinases as well as molecular microbiology. We can purify multi-mg quantities of enzymes, carry out in vitro or E. coli based assays, and bioinformatic analyses or database mining of recombinases.
