Professor Rob Dempski leads CellTech Institute (CTI) at WPI, focused on building AI-enabled life science workflows that integrate automated liquid handling, sequencing, advanced analytics, and emerging technologies. CTI enables scalable and reproducible experimentation in medical diagnostics, personalized medicine, and target validation, supporting discovery and downstream applications. Designed as a collaborative testbed, integrating research with workforce development, CTI partners with industry and academia to prototype workflows, generate high-quality datasets, and de-risk early-stage programs. By combining automation with data-driven design, CTI accelerates innovation and improves the efficiency of research and development.
