Ecovaleric is an electrochemical manufacturing company developing scalable production of biomass-derived chemicals and materials. Our proprietary platform uses electricity to convert renewable biomass feedstocks into high-value platform chemicals with the potential for lower-cost, lower-carbon manufacturing. Our first product is gamma-valerolactone (GVL), a renewable, biodegradable solvent targeting industrial applications currently served by conventional dipolar aprotic solvents. By combining green chemistry with process innovation, Ecovaleric aims to strengthen domestic chemical manufacturing, expand the use of agricultural and forestry biomass, and establish a platform for future renewable chemicals and advanced materials.
