About
Dr. Sherry Hsiang-Yi Chou is a physician-scientist focused on developing biomarkers to improve the diagnosis, monitoring, and treatment of acute brain injury. Her research program includes a large biorepository of blood and cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) samples collected from multiple cohorts of patients with subarachid hemorrhage, stroke, traumatic brain injury, and other neurological disorders. Linked to detailed clinical and imaging data, these samples provide a valuable resource for biomarker discovery and validation. Dr. Chou welcomes partnerships with industry to advance biomarker development, diagnostic technologies, patient stratification, and new therapies for neurological diseases.
