About
I am a PhD candidate in Chemical Engineering at the University of Salerno, working on the design and engineering of lipid- and polymer-based nanocarriers for the encapsulation and delivery of bioactive compounds and therapeutics. My research focuses on understanding how formulation and processing conditions affect particle properties, drug encapsulation, stability and biological performance of nanocarriers, with particular interest in innovative, scalable and sustainable manufacturing approaches assisted by supercritical carbon dioxide. I am particularly interested in translating nanotechnology and formulation engineering into scalable solutions for pharmaceutical, biomedical and related industrial applications.
