My lab conducts research and outreach to address pressing weed science issues affecting horticulture crop producers (vegetables, small fruits, tree fruits, and ornamentals). To this end, we conduct research on weed biology, weed-crop interactions, and integrated weed management approaches. Our integrated weed management research focuses on finding solutions for large and small farm operators and across diverse production systems. This includes chemical, physical/mechanical, cultural, and biology control strategies.
