Integrates solid-state and DNP NMR to solve structure and dynamics in crystalline and disorder materials. Broadly, NMR enables access to bulk structures and identifying surfaces and interfaces on nanomaterials and solid electrolytes. Research interests include sustainable energy development looking at semiconductors for LED and solar applications, energy storage (batteries) as well as porous materials for catalysis and carbon capture.
