Background

Mosquitos are a common nuisance and disease-spreading insect. Here in P&G Ventures, we are looking for solutions which exist globally that are specifically designed to kill or repel mosquitos.

What we're looking for

We are looking for solutions to kill or repel mosquitoes that have shown proven efficacy. We are particularly interested in technologies designed to combat mosquitoes in both indoor and outdoor environments. While in-market products would be ideal, we are open to considering devices and solutions in the testing phase that already exhibit a certain degree of validation in terms of effectiveness and safety, especially if they present a novel approach to indoor mosquito control.

Solutions of interest include:

Outdoor solutions that can be retrofitted to indoor environments
Repellent devices (diffusers, ultrasonic, etc.)
Sprays and other application forms
Refillable systems designed for indoor and/or outdoor environments
Mosquito traps or coils (LED, UV light, bio-based attractants, etc.)

Our must-have requirements are:

Solutions must have validation data on efficacy in mosquito control and safety for users and the environment

Our nice-to-have's are:

Solutions that are FIFRA-compliant or have been approved under a similar set of standards

What's out of scope:

Solutions exclusively for outdoor use

Acceptable technology readiness levels (TRL):

Levels 4-9
