Modular circular economy solutions for mining waste recovery

The mining industry faces a critical, unsolved problem. Ore grades are declining globally, leaving behind massive volumes of dilute waste streams—acid rock drainage and liquid tailings—containing recoverable copper and rare earth elements. Conventional treatment destroys this value, producing toxic sludge at high cost. Avasa Regen's containerized electrochemical extraction system turns that liability into revenue. Our proprietary flow-based platform recovers metals from highly dilute solutions (0.1–5 g/L) at ambient temperature—no chemical solvents, no manual labour, no sludge. Each unit fits inside a standard 20-foot shipping container for rapid plug-and-play deployment at remote mine sites. How it works: Dilute feed streams are pumped through our core electrochemical tube array. Crossflow through perforated electrodes deposits target metals onto cathodes, while high-velocity turbulent flow continuously fractures deposits off—eliminating costly downtime. Copper is extracted first at lower voltages (>90% single-pass yield), then electrical parameters are adjusted to recover rare earth elements including neodymium, dysprosium, and europium (75–95% yield). One system, two revenue streams. Traction: Technology Readiness Level 7 for base metals. Lab prototype validated at 80–90% current efficiency. Core IP secured at provisional patent stage. Commercial containerized units targeting 10,000 L/h planned for deployment at active mine sites within 12 months. We are seeking partners and pilot customers in the mining sector to co-deploy our beta containerized units and validate performance at scale.
