An AI-driven stereographic vision system on a mobile platform enhances crop inspection and greenhouse mapping by using 3D data and AI algorithms for accurate health assessments, reducing manual labor and improving efficiency.

Overview

The AI-stereographic system is designed to revolutionize greenhouse crop inspection and mapping. By deploying a mobile robotic platform equipped with a sophisticated vision system, this technology offers a faster and more accurate alternative to traditional manual inspections. Utilizing 3D stereographic data and advanced AI algorithms, the system automatically identifies crop health issues such as diseases, nutrient deficiencies, and pest damage. This reduces reliance on manual labor and addresses the challenge of personnel shortages in agricultural settings.

Technical specifications
  • 3D Reconstruction Algorithms: Utilizes stereoscopic images to create detailed 3D models of crops, allowing for precise measurements and health assessments.
  • AI Algorithms: Trained on a diverse dataset of labeled images, these algorithms classify and evaluate plant health, identifying anomalies that may indicate disease or other issues.
  • Mobile Robotic Platform: Navigates autonomously through greenhouse environments, capturing images for analysis.
  • User-friendly Interface: Features a GUI and dashboard for easy data visualization and system control.
Technology readiness level

The system is currently at Technology Readiness Level 4, meaning it has been validated in a lab environment. Future validation efforts will focus on testing in controlled greenhouse settings to compare system performance against traditional manual inspections, specifically measuring improvements in time efficiency and accuracy.
