NEUROFIT Vitals enables mobile platforms to add a 60-second heart-rate and heart-rate variability (HRV) check-in using a smartphone’s rear camera and flash. No additional wearable is required.
We are seeking commercial licensing partners with existing mobile products, particularly employee wellbeing platforms, insurer member-engagement programs, fitness and recovery platforms, and complementary digital health products.
WHAT IT ENABLES
Users place a fingertip over the phone’s rear camera and flash to take a reading. The SDK provides heart rate, HRV metrics including RMSSD and SDNN, respiratory rate, and derived autonomic indices. Processing runs on-device; commercial operation does not require video to leave the phone. A signal-quality engine identifies unreliable readings.
Potential applications include: • Adding a physiological check-in to an existing wellbeing or member-engagement journey. • Helping users follow personal HR/HRV trends alongside self-reported wellbeing. • Supporting before-and-after measurement around wellbeing or recovery activities. • Incorporating smartphone-based measurements into appropriately designed research.
These are potential integration use cases, rather than demonstrated customer outcomes.
DEVELOPMENT AND EVIDENCE
Vitals is deployed within the NEUROFIT app, with native Swift and Kotlin libraries available for integration.
An interim internal validation study covered 30 participants, 20 phone models and 303 recorded readings, of which 265 were accepted. Participants completed normal-breathing and paced-breathing readings. Among accepted readings, reported mean absolute error versus a Polar H10 reference was 0.47 bpm for heart rate and 4.03 ms for RMSSD; 92.5% of accepted RMSSD readings were within 10 ms of the reference.
These findings reflect the tested conditions and accepted readings. They do not establish diagnostic performance or universal device compatibility. The interim report is available for technical review.
PARTNERSHIP SOUGHT
We are exploring non-exclusive commercial SDK licensing, beginning with a focused discussion of the partner’s product, intended use and integration requirements. Evaluation scope, supported devices, licensing terms and support would be agreed separately.
If you own a relevant mobile product or evaluate technology partnerships, we would welcome a 20-minute fit discussion and demonstration with our technical co-founder. A non-confidential overview is available before the call.
NEUROFIT is a nervous system regulation platform developed by Xama Technologies, Inc. that provides rapid stress relief through a combination of AI-guided somatic exercises, daily psychometric self-assessments, and biometric tracking. The platform is designed to help users balance their nervous system in as little as three minutes, utilizing camera-based biomarker tracking to measure progress without the need for external wearables. By focusing on the body's natural stress response systems, NEUROFIT aims to shift users from high-stress states like fight-or-flight into stable parasympathetic responses, offering a data-driven alternative to traditional wellness and mindfulness applications.
The platform is utilized by busy professionals, including those in healthcare, finance, and technology, to manage burnout, anxiety, and sleep quality. It is also used by thousands of therapists, doctors, and health professionals worldwide as an adjunct tool for stress management. NEUROFIT has demonstrated significant real-world efficacy, with reported average stress reductions of 54% among active users within one week. The company, founded in 2020, also provides enterprise-grade solutions for military and hospital environments, emphasizing a science-backed approach to mental health and performance optimization.
