Overview

This cutting-edge solution provides a cost-effective and portable system for real-time monitoring of ionic concentrations in both soil and plant sap. Utilizing miniaturized ion-selective membranes coupled with organic electrochemical transistors (OECT), this system continuously tracks key ions such as K+, Cl-, NO3-, NH4+, Ca2+, Mg2+, and pH levels. The solution is designed to enhance agricultural efficiency by enabling detailed tracking of nutrient uptake from soil to plant, ultimately improving yield, nutrition, and sustainability.

Technology readiness level

This technology is currently at TRL 4, having demonstrated proof-of-concept in controlled environments. Future plans include sensor optimization, field pilots, and scalability testing with the aim of reaching commercial launch within 24 months.
