The high-speed strip coating simulation system is an innovative solution designed to mimic real-world coating processes on a smaller, manageable scale. It utilizes a rotating drum approximately 24 inches in diameter, around which various coating zones are strategically placed. This setup allows for the application of coatings, IR flashing, and UV/EB curing. The drum's speed is adjustable, offering the flexibility to simulate different production line speeds, such as 618 feet per minute at 100 RPM. This technology enables precise control and testing of coating processes without the need for full-scale production equipment.
