Overview

The proposed solution is a high-throughput, label-free optical imaging platform that leverages coherent anti-Stokes Raman scattering microscopy (CARS) and second harmonic generation (SHG). This innovative system is designed to enhance the screening of wound healing processes in both 2D and 3D skin and epithelial tissue models. By enabling the assessment of key regenerative processes such as extracellular matrix (ECM) production, cell migration, proliferation, and lipid/protein distribution, this platform offers a non-invasive and chemically specific approach that provides higher biological relevance and throughput than traditional assays.
