Cartridge-as-handle toothbrush licensing opportunity

HYGENUS is a patent-pending AI-integrated oral health platform from VII Technologies, Corp. The core innovation is a replaceable toothpaste cartridge that forms the full handle of the toothbrush. Unlike conventional refillable brushes where paste sits inside a separate outer handle, HYGENUS eliminates the outer housing: the cartridge itself is the grip surface. When empty, the cartridge snaps out and is replaced, creating a recurring smart-cartridge ecosystem for oral care.

The platform combines integrated paste delivery, a twist-advance mechanism, internal bore channel, smart cartridge recognition, and a planned seven-sensor oral-health monitoring layer including pH, optical gum-bleed detection, pressure, motion/IMU, acoustic, temperature, and RFID. The AI layer is designed to generate dental health scores, brushing-zone maps, bleeding-frequency trends, pH insights, cartridge recommendations, and 90-day dentist reports. Over time, HYGENUS is intended to connect oral signals to broader systemic health intelligence, including inflammation, metabolic risk, and behavioral health patterns.

VII Technologies has completed the provisional patent filing, technical drawings, product renders, licensing deck, and non-confidential teaser.
