ELPC™ for citrus HLB: plant recovery and disease-management research

Citrus Huanglongbing (HLB) is one of the most significant biological challenges facing the global citrus industry. NEWKIS has observed substantial recovery of affected citrus trees following application of its ELPC™-based technology system.

These field observations provide a basis for further investigation into whether ELPC™ can influence plant stress responses, physiological recovery and disease progression in HLB-affected plants.

NEWKIS is seeking citrus research groups, plant pathology laboratories and industry partners to conduct controlled trials, physiological studies, pathogen-related assessments and field validation.

The objective is to independently determine reproducibility, define the scope of the observed effects and investigate potential mechanisms.
