Executive Summary
ELPC™ (Eco-Energy Bio-Modulation) is a proprietary non-contact physical signaling technology developed by NEWKIS PTY LTD for commercial agricultural applications. In white melon production, ELPC™ has been applied as part of an integrated non-chemical crop management system combining ELPC™ with a botanical formulation.
Field Evidence
A field application in Luoding, Guangdong, China compared treated and untreated plots under the same crop variety, planting schedule, fertilizer and water management, and harvesting standards. The treated plot, using the botanical formulation together with ELPC™, achieved an average yield of approximately 6,000 jin per mu, compared with approximately 2,800 jin per mu in the control plot.
The field results demonstrate substantial improvement in crop productivity under the tested conditions, together with observations of improved plant performance and crop health.
Commercial Application
The results demonstrate practical potential for the integrated technology system in commercial white melon production. NEWKIS is developing standardized application approaches and is seeking agricultural partners for deployment, scale-up, licensing and market development.
Cucurbit Crop Opportunity
White melon provides an important field-validated application for exploring the broader use of ELPC™ across Cucurbit crops. The technology has potential relevance to commercially important crops within the Cucurbitaceae family, including cucumber, watermelon, pumpkin, squash and other melon crops. NEWKIS is interested in extending field applications and evaluating crop-specific responses across different Cucurbit production systems.
Research Opportunity
NEWKIS welcomes independent research to investigate the contribution of ELPC™ within integrated treatment systems and to characterize its effects on plant health, stress resilience, flowering, pollen fertilization, fruit development and yield formation. Research may also investigate whether common responses can be identified across different Cucurbit crops and environments.
Partnership Opportunities
NEWKIS is open to pilot or trial engagements, co-development, sponsored research, technology licensing and strategic investment opportunities.
