Innovative lozenge for allergy relief using botanical extracts like Elephant's Head, Timothy Grass, and Roman Chamomile. Utilizes novel green extraction methods to neutralize allergens, calm histamine response, and soothe mucosal irritation.

Overview

This multi-targeted allergy relief lozenge offers a groundbreaking approach to managing allergies using natural botanical extracts. The lozenge is formulated with Elephant's Head, Timothy Grass, and Roman Chamomile, which work synergistically to neutralize allergens, calm the histamine response, and soothe mucosal irritation. The unique combination of these botanicals, extracted through novel supercritical carbon dioxide (sc-CO2) methods, provides a comprehensive allergy relief solution. This innovation promises rapid development and potential market leadership in botanical allergy relief.

Technical specifications
  • Elephant's Head: Rich in aucubin and phenylpropanoid glycosides, offering mucosal anti-inflammatory and muscle relaxant properties.
  • Timothy Grass: Contains glycoproteins and allergens Phl p 1 and Phl p 5, effective in desensitizing the immune system to grass pollen allergens.
  • Roman Chamomile: Provides immediate symptom relief through mast cell stabilization by apigenin and anti-inflammatory action via α-bisabolol.
  • Extraction Method: Utilizes green sc-CO2 extraction, with or without superhydrophobic additives, capturing over 10 times more organic matter than standard methods.
Technology readiness level

The technology is at TRL 4, having completed initial R&D and feasibility studies. Future plans include formulation, safety testing, and small-scale clinical trials to validate efficacy and safety during allergy season.
