Psigryph owns Nanopect™, a patented, cherry-derived carbohydrate nanotechnology that delivers biologically active molecules to living cells. It is comprised of spherical nanoparticles and string-like nanofibres that are isolated from a proprietary, patented process developed at the U of Guelph in Canada. The technology is being developed to deliver active payload molecules for human and animal nutrition, fertilizers and RNAi and small molecule pesticides in agriculture.
We have field trial positive data complimented by in vitro and in vivo data showing greatly increased intracellular delivery of dsRNA by Nanopect™ with high efficiency. Field trial data in corn proving proof of concept of siRNA against the fungus fusarium, became available in 2025.
Nanopect™ can also be applied for delivery of mRNA and gene sequences. The company is seeking industrial partnerships to pursue such applications.
Psigryph Inc. is a foodtech and agritech company founded in 2018, focused on developing biodegradable nanotechnology solutions to improve the delivery of bioactive molecules across cell membranes, with applications in health, agriculture, and environmental sustainability.
