Nematoeat - novel bionematicide seeking a strategic partner for global commercialization

NematoEat is a patented biological solution for controlling economically important plant-parasitic nematodes. It is based on a naturally occurring predatory nematode with high predation activity and offers a new biological approach to nematode management. The technology has demonstrated activity against major groups of plant-parasitic nematodes, including root-knot, cyst and lesion nematodes, across several crops. Development has progressed from laboratory and growth-chamber studies through greenhouse experiments to field trials. NematoEat has demonstrated efficacy competitive with commercial chemical and biological nematicides. It is non-phytotoxic, compatible with some chemical nematicides, and can be easily applied through existing drip-irrigation systems.
