Company

PROMITOR® is a corn-based soluble dietary fiber with more than twice the digestive tolerance of inulin, clinically demonstrated prebiotic activity, and broad process stability — available in powder, granular, and liquid formats.

Overview

PROMITOR Soluble Fiber is produced from corn starch through a proprietary enzymatic process yielding a high-fiber ingredient (85%+ fiber on dry basis) with clean taste, low color, and excellent solubility. Clinical studies show PROMITOR is tolerated at more than double the intake level of inulin before causing GI discomfort. Published evidence supports prebiotic activity, enhanced calcium absorption, and a favorable post-meal blood glucose response. PROMITOR maintains its fiber content through baking, extrusion, pasteurization, and UHT processing.
