This technology is designed to encapsulate active ingredients, ensuring their stability and controlled release in response to specific pH levels. The microcapsules remain impermeable in acidic environments but swell and release their contents when exposed to higher pH levels or upon dilution. This characteristic makes the technology particularly suitable for applications in the beverage industry and pharmaceuticals, where precise delivery of active ingredients is crucial.

Technology readiness level

Currently at TRL 4, this technology has been validated at the pilot scale with successful prototype development. Future plans include further prototyping, stability testing, financial viability analysis, and IP filings to advance the technology towards commercial readiness.
