Manufacturing costs and platform limitations have constrained the range of antibody-based therapeutics available in animal health. A lower-cost yeast-based route to recombinant veterinary mAbs enables both more affordable versions of existing product categories and access to therapeutic targets not currently viable to develop. Beyond economics, our platform produces proteins with distinct glycosylation profiles that may confer novel immunomodulatory properties — a potentially valuable and underexplored dimension of veterinary biologics.
