Strategic partner: Superlab Suisse

Sponsored by: CurieBio    Goodwin    Danforth

While Europe is a center for pharmaceutical innovation, the United States stands out as the sole market that can sustain that innovation. Accessing this market influences funding, culture, talent, and reputation, but is often constrained by know-how and personal networks. Bayer Pharmaceuticals is launching the ‘Bayer Co.Lab Connect’ program to support one early-stage startup in expanding their presence in the U.S. while building a relationship with Bayer.

Bayer Co.Lab is partnering Switzerland’s No.1 laboratory provider, Superlab Suisse, and with the support of world-class innovation players like Curie.Bio, Goodwin, and Danforth Advisors. Co.Lab Connect Basel is creating a pathway to the Boston-Cambridge ecosystem by providing Swiss biotech entrepreneurs and startups direct access to top-notch laboratory and office space, as well as valuable expertise and mentoring tailored for the U.S. market. Bayer Co.Lab will select one company that will receive a travel grant to attend Bayer's exclusive event in Boston during BIO International 2025.

The selected startup will be included in the Bayer Co.Lab portfolio and will receive early endorsement of their scientific projects, connections to vetted venture capital networks, insights into the legal requirements for establishing a U.S. presence, and scientific guidance during the span of one year. While establishing a U.S. presence is an option, participation in the program does not require relocation. Startups will receive resources and connections even if they choose to remain in their home country.

Bayer Co.Lab Connect is your gateway to the Boston-Cambridge ecosystem. We provide non-U.S. startups with the tools, networks, and resources needed to establish a foothold in the U.S. from Bayer Co.Lab Cambridge, situated in the most innovative square mile on the planet, and to achieve sustainable growth with Bayer’s expertise and support.
