Certech

Certech is an independent Belgian applied research center and contract R&D partner with a multidisciplinary team of roughly 35 highly qualified employees. Based in Seneffe’s industrial zone, it gives companies access to analytical laboratories, pilot and semi-industrial equipment, and technical support for product and process development. Its customer-focused model combines contract research, testing, technology guidance, and scale-up support, helping firms move from laboratory validation toward industrial implementation; SMEs can also use regional innovation-support mechanisms. Founded at the initiative of UCLouvain, Certech maintains a formal research relationship with the university while operating independently and contracting directly with industry. Research and innovation are supported by the Walloon Region and European programs, including Horizon Europe and the European Regional Development Fund.
