ELISAVA

ELISAVA is a specialized university faculty and design school of the Universitat de Vic–Universitat Central de Catalunya, with more than 2,000 students, a practice-oriented character, and campuses in Barcelona and Madrid. Its applied research model combines academic teams with laboratories, prototyping spaces, and technology-transfer support for external partners. Elisava Research and Elisava Business connect companies through collaborative R&D, innovation labs, strategic partnerships, industrial PhDs, and projects with institutions or NGOs. Research is supported by competitive European Union, Spanish, and Catalan programs, alongside company-backed work. An entrepreneurship program supports licensing, spin-offs, and startups.
