Jiangxi Agricultural University

Jiangxi Agricultural University is a mid-sized, agriculture-focused public research university in Nanchang, with more than 24,000 full-time students, 17 schools, doctoral and postdoctoral training, and a broad, practice-oriented institutional character. Its large campus and extensive experimental and practice infrastructure support applied research, field validation, and engagement with industry and public-sector partners. The university has strategic and science-and-technology cooperation relationships with more than 80% of Jiangxi’s counties and works with agricultural enterprises, local governments, and rural communities to move technologies, improved varieties, and technical services toward use. Research is supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and the National Forestry and Grassland Administration, alongside competitive provincial funding. A university science and technology office supports research management and the transfer and commercialization of results.
