RTI International

RTI International is an independent, nonprofit scientific research institute headquartered in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina. Its campus houses laboratories and configurable pilot bays that enable prototyping, scale-up, and in‑field testing within one of the nation’s largest research parks. Corporate teams collaborate through on‑campus facilities and an advisory practice that scouts technologies and builds partnerships. RTI’s work is backed by competitive awards and contracts from major U.S. agencies—including NIH, NSF, DOE, and CDC—as well as USAID and multilateral donors. A dedicated commercialization group supports IP strategy, licensing, and pathways to market.
