University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences

UVAS is a large public research university headquartered in Lahore, Pakistan, with a long-standing, professionally oriented mission and campuses across Punjab. Its industry-facing model combines teaching and research with animal hospitals, farms, production facilities, clinical and diagnostic laboratories, and extension services. The Ravi Campus in Pattoki provides roughly 1,000 acres for hands-on training and production-oriented research. An Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization supports partnerships, IP, licensing, technology transfer, and university–industry linkages. Research is supported by Pakistan’s Higher Education Commission, Pakistan Science Foundation, Pakistan Agriculture Research Council, and the Punjab Agriculture Research Board.
