Vidyasirimedhi Institute of Science and Technology

Vidyasirimedhi Institute of Science and Technology (VISTEC) is a focused, postgraduate research institute in Wangchan Valley, Rayong, designed to combine advanced science with user-inspired innovation. Its location within the Eastern Economic Corridor of Innovation places researchers alongside a PTT research center and innovation park, creating a practical setting for industrial engagement and technology scale-up. The Frontier Research Center serves as a liaison for contract research and joint programs, while VISTEC’s commercialization company helps move discoveries toward industry partnerships, startups, and investable technologies. Research support combines private-sector sponsorship with competitive backing from Thai national research and innovation bodies, including NRCT, NSTDA, and NIA.
