Xiamen University

Xiamen University is a large, comprehensive public research university in Xiamen, Fujian, with nearly 44,000 full-time students and more than 3,000 full-time teachers and researchers. Its industry-facing infrastructure includes national key laboratories, a national engineering research center, an Industrial Technology Research Institute, affiliated hospitals, and government-supported innovation platforms. Government–industry–university–research partnerships extend across Fujian and beyond, while a market-oriented research institute supports external-resource gathering, high-tech enterprise incubation, technology transfer, and regional industrial development. Research is supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Education, and provincial and municipal programs.
