My research focuses on developing high-performance, sustainable packaging materials and systems that improve food safety, extend shelf life, and enable circularity. I work on polymeric nanofilms, multilayer barrier structures, and AI-enabled modeling to reduce chemical migration, control mass transfer, and optimize package–product interactions. My work bridges materials science, packaging engineering, and data-driven design to deliver scalable solutions aligned with regulatory, recyclability, and sustainability goals.
