At the IBT, VAST, we develop and utilize molecular genetic tools such as CRISPR/Cas9, prime editing, GWAS, WGS, GBS to study gene functions and to improve crop traits. We have successfully developed CRISPR/Cas9 systems as crop improvement tools to soybean, rice, tomato, maize, cucumber and others.
