Functional genomics to enhance wheat resistance to FHB
About
We use model organisms and crop plants to identify genes that increase resistance to FHB. Currently screening Chlamydomonas mutant library for chloroplast-related genes that impact resistance to trichothecenes. We have also been successful in using activation tagging screens to identify resistance genes.
