I'm looking for industry and research partners to co-develop and test AI-enabled sensing, wearable, and robotic systems for health, safety, and smart buildings. I'm interested in sponsored research, real-world datasets, and opportunities for pilot deployments.
About
I'm an assistant professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Computer Science (by courtesy) at Northwestern University. My research brings AI into the physical world through efficient sensing, computing, and autonomous systems. We combine embedded systems, data science, and machine learning to help everyday devices perceive, reason, and act. I'm interested in projects that include wearable, multimodal/acoustic sensing, AI-assisted home health screening, foundation-model-powered drones, and building energy optimization. Our goal is to create practical technologies that make everyday environments healthier, safer, and more sustainable.
