Seeking funding and collaborative opportunities in advanced engineering alloy development, failure and root-cause analysis of structural components, and advanced materials characterization using state-of-the-art electron microscopy and multiscale characterization techniques.
About
I am a Research Associate Professor and TEM Facility Manager at Northwestern University specializing in advanced electron microscopy, including TEM, STEM, aberration-corrected microscopy, diffraction, spectroscopy, tomography, and in situ/operando characterization. My research focuses on understanding materials at the atomic scale across energy storage, catalysis, nanomaterials, alloys, and functional materials. I have authored more than 150 peer-reviewed publications with over 6,200 citations (H-index >40), and actively develop new microscopy instrumentation, experimental platforms, and data analysis methods. I am passionate about scientific collaboration, mentoring researchers, and advancing electron microscopy to address critical challenges in materials science and engineering.
