Advanced high throughput screening systems for evaluating estrogen receptor activity and modulators, with comprehensive in vitro models and techniques including CRISPR and lentiviral technologies.

Overview

Our high throughput screening systems are designed to investigate estrogen pathway modulators with precision and efficiency. Leveraging our extensive experience in estrogen receptor pathways, these systems facilitate the evaluation of receptor agonists, antagonists, and modulators. Our approach enables a thorough analysis of cellular secreted proteins and their interactions with estrogen receptors, offering valuable insights into receptor expression and function.

Technical specifications

Our technology encompasses multiple in vitro models and techniques to assess the estrogen receptor pathway:

  • ER luciferase reporter assays: For detecting estrogen receptor activity.
  • Real-time RT-PCR: Used to quantify receptor mRNA expression levels.
  • Western blotting: For analyzing ER protein expression.
  • Breast cancer cell lines: Includes both ER expressing and receptor null lines for functional studies such as proliferation and apoptosis.
  • CRISPR knockdown: Allows targeted disruption of estrogen receptor or other proteins.
  • Lentiviral technology: Facilitates stable expression of receptors.

The system is adaptable for studying any receptor or pathway, not limited to the estrogen receptor.

Technology readiness level

Our high throughput screening systems have reached Technology Readiness Level 5, indicating that the technology has been validated in relevant environments and is ready for further development and optimization.
