We are a large CPG company primarily focused in the sweet, salty, and protein snack categories. While we excel in providing great tasting products to our consumers, we want to provide additional, functional benefits to new and existing customers. Our regulatory, manufacturing, formulation, and food safety expertise lies primarily in the food domain. We seek to provide functional benefits through healthy snacking, potentially utilizing ingredients that could be classified as dietary supplements. As we make this leap into the supplement category (in food format), we seek guidance on the following areas, at a minimum:

• Regulatory pathways for utilization of dietary supplement ingredients in food formats
• Scientific substantiation of the ingredients and usage levels for on-pack claims, including regulatory notification requirements
• Food safety concerns specific to the supplement space including ready-to-eat
• cGMP and defined Food Safety and Regulatory Programs for the production of foods as Dietary Supplements
• Experience with dietary supplement labeling standards and analytical testing requirements

The ideal consultant will have expertise to assist with the above in the CPG space.
