We are looking for a solution to lighten hair with the same level of lift as our current lightening powders containing hydrogen peroxide, but with a significantly lower amount of hair damage and thus a reduced need for additional repair ingredients. Solutions of interest include, but are certainly not limited to:
- pH-adjusting lighteners
- Mineral-based bleaching agent
- Photocatalytic hair lightening
- Can lighten hair effectively with less damage than using current systems using persulfates and hydrogen peroxide
- Potential to meet EU regulations, including no animal testing
- Safe ingredients (preferably capable of receiving compliance with REACH regulations)
- No adverse interactions with heavy metals
- Even toning without uneven coloration
